It is inspired by the Japanese art of kintsugi, which involves mending broken objects with gold. The temple features a charred and fragmented exterior that appears to be held together by streams of light filtering through the fissures, casting an ethereal glow on the space designed for contemplation.The architects vision encompasses a cavernous interior reminiscent of ancient gathering places where people have convened for reflection and connection throughout history. Beneath the rugged and organic facade, the design integrates Baroque geometries, especially in its approach to movement, sightlines, and spatial dynamics. Armetta, the Owner and Director of Aspect/Ratio Projects in Chicago, will help raise funds and expand partnerships that support curatorial and programming opportunities for the popular biennial. The 42,000-seat stadium would be located close to the Sphinx International Airport, between Cairo and Alexandria, and feature a partially submerged bowl and sunken pitch they claim is a first for such large-scale stadium designs.This accomplishes two things by first overcoming the height restrictions imposed by the airport and allowing for heat gain to be reduced throughout the stadium by using the pre-existing natural conditions.Genslers Tayomara Gama says their aim is to "create a new landmark venue" for the game globally. Located 8 kilometres (5 miles) west of Mount Everest, it is sometimes known as "Everest's daughter"; the name Pumori, meaning 'the mountain daughter' in the Sherpa language, was coined by the mountaineer George Mallory.
