The9th annual Cecobois Awards of Excellencerecently honored 18 selected projects from around the province ofQuebec thatcelebrated the emergence of wood as a building material in commercial, industrial, institutional, and multi-residential construction, as well as the architectural, engineering, and innovative expertise of Quebecois building professionals.Projects submitted had to have been completed within the last three years. From the fifty-plus entries received, the jury had to select those that stood out in terms of architectural concept, structural design, quality of execution, aesthetics, functionality, and effective integration of the wood material.Jury members Eric Karsh,Shawn Kennedy,Laure Mriaud,Jacques White, and Caroline Frenetteselected the following projects as category winners for the 2025 program:Commercial Building
