Have you ever waited for a game for ages, only to find it doesn’t quite hit the mark? That’s how I feel about Metroid Prime 4. After nearly two decades since the last Prime adventure, I was really hoping for something special.
Instead, it seems the game didn’t fully embrace the innovations in design that have emerged in the gaming world. I mean, how hard is it to create engaging level design and smooth traversal? I get that it has a unique development story, but I can’t help but wish for a sequel that feels more cohesive and true to the franchise.
What are your thoughts? Do you think nostalgia can carry a game, or should it evolve to stay relevant?
