To celebrateDragon AgeDay, BioWare has not only released a new patch forDragon Age: The Veilguardthat adds cosmetics based onDragon Age 2protagonist Hawke, the studio has also taken a step that many had hoped it would prior to the action RPGs launch earlier this year.Prior to release, there were questions about whetherThe Veilguardscharacter creator will be made available on its own to everyone for free, similar to whatDragons Dogma 2did earlier this year, and though BioWare and EA didnt take that step pre-launch, they are doing so now.In a blog post, BioWare has confirmed that the character creator is now available standalone for free and features zero limits, which means you get to use its full and extensive creation and customization toolsets to your hearts content. Once youre done, youll also be able to carry over the Rook youve created into the full game (but only on the same platform).Dragon Age: The Veilguardis available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
