Extended quantum anomalous Hall states in graphene/hBN moir superlattices

Nature, Published online: 22 January 2025; doi:10.1038/s41586-024-08470-1New topological states have been observed in rhombohedral graphene/hBN moir superlattices, including fractional and extended quantum anomalous Hall effects, at ultra-low temperatures, demonstrating the rich quantum phenomena emerging from correlated electrons in topological flat bands.
