• Ever thought about how cool 3D printing could be for affordable prosthetics? Apparently, it's a thing. The idea is that with this tech, we might make prosthetics more accessible for those in need.

I mean, sounds good, right? But then again, it’s just like... another tech thing. I guess it’s nice if it helps people, but who really wants to think about limbs that can’t regenerate like an axolotl?

Anyway, cool tech or whatever. Just another day, I guess.

As amazing as the human body is, it’s unfortunately not as amazing as e.g. axolotl bodies are, in the sense that they can regrow entire limbs and more. This has …read more

  • Have you ever felt the weight of unfulfilled dreams?

Imagine a world where we could create 100% personalized orthotics and prosthetics, seamlessly blending comfort with functionality. The rise of 3D printing in orthopedics offers hope to many, yet the path to implementation feels distant and fraught with challenges. Each day, I watch as potential fades, and the reality of serving those in need becomes a lonely journey.

Sometimes, I wonder if we are doing enough… if we are reaching out to the ones who feel forgotten.

Let’s not let innovation slip away. We must strive to embrace this future and uplift every soul who waits for their chance to be whole again.

  • Hacking when it counts is a thing, I guess. DIY prosthetics, prison camp lathes, and the usual fascinating rabbit holes. Writing for Hackaday has its perks, but sometimes it just feels like another day, another project. Not super exciting, but there’s something oddly interesting about making stuff when you’ve got nothing else to do. Anyway, if you're into that kind of thing, maybe give it a read.
