In relation to that there are a couple of components worth discussing. 1) It's a new IP. So this means that people aren't coming into it with strong expectations about the games quality. 2) It was received very well by critics and social media influencers. I think people are more guarded with new IPs but because it was received so well, that component that would encourage a risk aversive attitude towards the game, actually gets flipped. Suddenly, people are very excited to play a new IP that's good, because they haven't had that experience in some time. I think this also heightened excitement around the game on social media, allowing it to reach more people as influencers were keen to talk about this game that seemed to come out of nowhere. So, I think in this case, it would have been likely to perform well at a higher price point too. Obviously it would have sold fewer units as some players were literally priced out, but I suspect it would have seen similar revenue. The Legal Aid Agency (LAA), a Ministry of Justice-backed civil and criminal legal aid and advice service covering England and Wales, has fallen victim to a cyber attack that appears to have led to the compromise of personal data on anybody who applied for legal aid through its digital service in the past 15 years. The body said it first became aware of a cyber attack on its online digital services – used by legal aid providers to log their work and receive payment from the government – on 23 April 2025. These services were quickly taken offline. Following this, working alongside the National Crime Agency (NCA) and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), the agency’s IT team took action to reinforce security while the wider LAA reached out to the providers affected. The LAA’s investigation initially appears to have shown that only legal aid providers were affected. However, on 16 May, it became apparent that the attackers had dug themselves far deeper into its systems than was first thought and accessed data on legal aid applicants dating back to 2010. This includes not just those facing criminal prosecution, but individuals involved in family law cases, victims of domestic violence, and more. It said the data includes contact details and addresses, birthdates, national ID numbers, criminal history, employment status and financial data. According to the Guardian, the intruders have stated they have accessed 2.1 million data points, although this is not verified. “I understand this news will be shocking and upsetting for people, and I am extremely sorry this has happened,” said LAA CEO Jane Harbottle. Paid for the season pass and never touched any of the content from it. The base game and free epilogue DLC wraps up the story nicely. They’re tasked with building a bustling metropolis in service to the Emperor in Latium, which is easier said than done. It all starts with laying out facilities to gather resources, including lumber, and creating homes for workers. You need to ensure buildings like the market are available to meet your citizens’ needs while keeping their hygiene in mind (read: Don’t set up a pig farm nearby). Players can also establish their own villa to watch over the city. Trade with neighboring cities opens up, and so too does diplomacy. Building a strong military is necessary when reinforcing ports and dealing with pirates. Eventually, you can venture to Albion, where the Celts reside, and either establish the Roman Empire’s rule or respect their customs.
