They then compromised the legitimate accounts of paying customers. They combined those two things to create a fee-based platform people could use.A sophisticated schemeMicrosoft is also suing seven individuals it says were customers of the service. All 10 defendants were named John Doe because Microsoft doesnt know their identity.By this action, Microsoft seeks to disrupt a sophisticated scheme carried out by cybercriminals who have developed tools specifically designed to bypass the safety guardrails of generative AI services provided by Microsoft and others, lawyers wrote in a complaint filed in federal court in the Eastern District of Virginia and unsealed Friday.The three people who ran the service allegedly compromised the accounts of legitimate Microsoft customers and sold access to the accounts through a now-shuttered site at rentry[.]org/de3u. The service, which ran from last July to September when Microsoft took action to shut it down, included detailed instructions on how to use these custom tools to generate harmful and illicit content.The service contained a proxy server that relayed traffic between its customers and the servers providing Microsofts AI services, the suit alleged. Among other things, the proxy service used undocumented Microsoft network application programming interfaces (APIs) to communicate with the companys Azure computers. The resulting requests were designed to mimic legitimate Azure OpenAPI Service API requests and used compromised API keys to authenticate them.Microsoft attorneys included the following images, the first illustrating the network infrastructure and the second displaying the user interface provided to users of the defendants' service: Screenshot Credit: Microsoft Microsoft didnt say how the legitimate customer accounts were compromised but said hackers have been known to create tools to search code repositories for API keys developers inadvertently included in the apps they create. Microsoft and others have long counseled developers to remove credentials and other sensitive data from code they publish, but the practice is regularly ignored. The company also raised the possibility that the credentials were stolen by people who gained unauthorized access to the networks where they were stored.Microsoft and others forbid using their generative AI systems to create various content. Content that is off limits includes materials that feature or promote sexual exploitation or abuse, is erotic or pornographic, or attacks, denigrates, or excludes people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability status, or similar traits. It also doesnt allow the creation of content containing threats, intimidation, promotion of physical harm, or other abusive behavior.Besides expressly banning such usage of its platform, Microsoft has also developed guardrails that inspect both prompts inputted by users and the resulting output for signs the content requested violates any of these terms. These code-based restrictions have been repeatedly bypassed in recent years through hacks, some benign and performed by researchers and others by malicious threat actors.Microsoft didnt outline precisely how the defendants' software was allegedly designed to bypass the guardrails the company had created.Masada wrote:Microsofts AI services deploy strong safety measures, including built-in safety mitigations at the AI model, platform, and application levels. As alleged in our court filings unsealed today, Microsoft has observed a foreign-based threatactor group develop sophisticated software that exploited exposed customer credentials scraped from public websites. In doing so, they sought to identify and unlawfully access accounts with certain generative AI services and purposely alter the capabilities of those services. Cybercriminals then used these services and resold access to other malicious actors with detailed instructions on how to use these custom tools to generate harmful and illicit content. Upon discovery, Microsoft revoked cybercriminal access, put in place countermeasures, and enhanced its safeguards to further block such malicious activity in the future.The lawsuit alleges the defendants service violated the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, the Lanham Act, and the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act and constitutes wire fraud, access device fraud, common law trespass, and tortious interference. Learn to look for the signs of an argument.You probably know the signs of when the narcissist in your life is going to start an argument. But some common signs a narcissist is gearing up for an argument include "physical agitation, facial expressions becoming sinister, darkened eyes, and a change in their posture to become more imposing or intimidating. Their voice may also suddenly get deeper or sterner, she said."Whatever the signs may be, they will reflect the narcissist's desire to regain control of the situation or reestablish their authority," Scigliano said. Maria Korneeva/ Getty Images Fights with a narcissist are very different from regular relationship spats, Elinor Greenberg, a psychologist and author of "Borderline, Narcissistic, and Schizoid Adaptations: The Pursuit of Love, Admiration, and Safety," told BI in 2023.Some of her clients have screamed at her over minor inconveniences, such as packages arriving during their session."If they're going to yell at me over the UPS man, you can see just how hard it is for them to have a relationship without getting nasty," she said.When offended, narcissists may accuse their partner of being "disrespectful" or "selfish." The world revolves around them, in their eyes, so focusing on anything else feels like a direct attack.Narcissistic rage ranges from direct confrontation with name-calling and insults to calculated, closed-down reactions like giving their partner the silent treatment for hours."They give you the cold shoulder, or they walk out and they find another partner," Greenberg said. "But it's all done silently and coolly and coldly you know what you did. Know you'll find yourself going in circles.Arguing with a narcissist can be frustrating. Tetra Images/Getty Images Expect to feel frustrated with how the argument seems to be going nowhere."Because narcissists are fantastic at spinning others around in their webs of manipulation, you can easily become disoriented as to how the argument even began, frustrated over their circular arguments, and hopeless with regard to resolving anything," Scigliano said."Oftentimes, people give up and give in just for the sake of ending the argument and reestablishing a modicum of peace," she said. They're also not necessarily trying to "win" the argument."Be aware that narcissists don't argue to prove a point," divorce attorney Derek Jacques of The Mitten Law Firm told BI in 2023. "They argue to feel a rush of satisfaction of putting you down and belittling you." Instead, try to empathize with their feelings.Empathy might help calm a narcissist during an argument. Regardless of their intent, their attacks can still wound those around them.Narcissists become "visibly disappointed, frustrated, angry, and at times, violent when they don't receive the feedback, praise, and admiration they expect, especially from partners," Terrell Strayhorn, a professor of education and psychology at Virginia Union University, told BI in 2023."Their superiority complex compels them to lash out verbally, emotionally, psychologically, and physically against those who disappoint them," Strayhorn said.One way to soothe a narcissist is to empathize with their feelings, Greenberg said.If you are in a relationship with a narcissist, you might naturally have a lot of empathy. You may be able to use that trait to help control the situation.Greenberg suggested saying something like, "You must have felt very hurt by what I did. I can understand why you are feeling that way." The narcissist is probably angry that you dared to defend yourself, so you can try and remind them you're in this together and that it would be better for everyone to stop.Scigliano also recommended remaining calm, not sharing your feelings, and sticking only to the facts."Expressing emotions makes it easier for the narcissist to twist the conversation around and work you into a tizzy," she said. Redirect them by asking about a topic that interests them.Try to divert their attention to a new topic. Fiordaliso/Getty Images Narcissists love talking about themselves and can be know-it-alls.Dangle a new topic in front of their face to steer the conversation away from conflict. This might not be that effective in the midst of a fierce debate, but after some time has passed, the narcissist will probably take the bait.Another tactic is to ask for advice. It's a slightly less transparent way of changing the subject that also makes the narcissist feel superior. Avoid taking the bait yourself.Ignore their insults. irinamunteanu/Getty Images As retaliation for whatever hurt they feel you've caused them, narcissists will bring up past slights or accuse you of being selfish at that moment.One way to deal with a narcissist is to "avoid engaging with them on their level," Jacques said. That could mean biting your tongue, even as they're spewing insults at you.Even an innocuous statement might provide a narcissist with ammo, Jacques said. "Take those opportunities away from them and you remove their power."Greenberg also said that by ignoring the name-calling, you can often avoid the fight. If you respond to it, things are likely to escalate, and you're giving the narcissist exactly what they want your pain. Remember to put yourself first.You might need to break things off with the narcissist in your life. Using these methods to deal with a narcissist may help deescalate upsetting and potentially dangerous, situations.For most people, though, breaking up with a narcissist is the better, safer option. The very nature of being a narcissist means they don't see anything wrong with themselves, so they are unlikely to ever change or seek help. Candy Crush is getting another feather in its cap. Rather than offering another twist on match-three puzzling, Candy Crush Solitaire will bring the franchise's sickly sweet aesthetic to the card game classic. It will be the first Candy Crush game to release after Microsoft's acquisition of developer King.Candy Crush Solitaire bases itself on tripeaks solitaire, in which players must clear three "peaks" of cards. The game will feature familiar power-ups from Candy Crush, including jelly fish, the lollipop hammer, the color bomb, and the UFO. They will offer similar, but not exactly the same, powers as their match-three counterparts. Much like other Candy Crush games, the basic solitaire gameplay will be altered and made more challenging as players progress. Candy Crush Solitaire will launch worldwide on February 6. After Leo's victory over Vam, the second part of Fantasian Neo Dimension unfolds. Quite a few main story and side quests are available, but others have a few prerequisites. To begin these side quests tied to Tan, players must Fast Travel to Falcion Bypath and complete the "Tan, the Solitary" main quest, unlocking Tan as a playable character. This also opens up the side quests to find missing cats and dogs linked to him.

As a genre, isekai offers an abundance of freedom when it comes to concepts and ideas. Almost anything can be incorporated into an isekai story, and Headhunted to Another World is a great example. Rather than a student being isekai'd, it's an office worker named Dennosuke Uchimura. Instead of being a hero, he's working with the Demon King as a consultant and negotiator. It's a truly unique concept that creates an entertaining story.

Through sixteen mainline entries and multiple spin-offs, the Final Fantasy franchise has seen its fair share of sequels. Even though Square Enix has consistently described Final Fantasy as an anthology series with no connective tissue between entries, they are certainly not above it, and many of the franchise's best games have seen sequels. Some games, however, have been left without sequels and would benefit greatly from a continuation of some sort.
