Dev of This Superhero Action Game Showcased Impressive Water Interaction Animation

Indie-us Games, a Japan-based game development studio behind UNDEFEATED: Genesis, has recently showcased new progress in their Unreal Engine 5-based superhero action game featuring flying, destructible environments, and flashy combat mechanics.

The most recent footage showcases water interaction animation on the mysterious planet where you, as the protagonist, wake up after being hit by a meteor. The water is incredibly realistic and interacts authentically with the protagonist as he walks, runs in the water, or flies above it. He can also showcase some combat skills in the water, which causes corresponding real-time water reactions. When flying over the water, the speed causes the water to turn into vapor, making players feel the humidity right in front of their eyes.

There are more of recent demos showcasing the game’s combat, features, and more. Check them out:

We first covered UNDEFEATED: Genesis back in November of last year. In case you’ve missed our previous reports, this game is a sequel to the studio’s 2019 title, UNDEFEATED, and it puts you in the shoes of an ordinary college student who suddenly gains superpowers and the ability to fly. Your objective is to battle enemies in destructible environments and use your incredible abilities to save a mysterious planet from catastrophic blight while assisting the remaining survivors.

If you are impressed with the game’s neat animation, story, or mechanics, feel free to add the game to your wishlist on Steam. The release date of the game is yet to be announced, and we encourage you to follow the developer on Twitter to be informed of its future updates.
