Zenovia Interactive
Neon Inferno is an upcoming action game featuring fast-paced arcade-style combats from Steel Assault developer Zenovia Interactive. It’s been five months since we featured it last September, and so much progress has been made in the game’s development. Let’s have a look at what’s new with it through this article.
Shortly after our last coverage was published, the game’s Steam page was set up, giving us more information about the core gameplay and setting and a deeper look at the characters and combats of this title. In this hybrid of side-scroller and gallery-shooter set in the beautiful pixelated world portraying NYC in 2055, you’ll be enjoying a stylish, modern 2D action gameplay experience while playing as an assassin.

Select your character between Angelo Morano or Mariana Vitti to “battle through the streets, blasting, deflecting, and slicing your way through your enemies.” Neon Inferno offers a variety of weapons to choose from and multiple upgrades to make sure you’re well-equipped.
If the intros have itched you, don’t hesitate to download the game’s demo, which was released earlier this week, to dive into Neon Inferno’s dense cyberpunk jungle.
What’s more, Zenovia Interactive has announced that they teamed up with publisher Retroware to distribute the game on various platforms, including PC, PS, Xbox, and Switch, as well as localize it to more languages.
Another great news is that it won’t take long to experience the full game, as a 2025 release window has been listed on Steam. If you’d like to hear more about the development of Neon Inferno, feel free to follow the developers on X/Twitter.
