It’s been thirty-four years since Terminator 2: Judgment Day debuted. Now, the events from the beloved movie have been brought to life in Terminator 2D: No Fate, an officially licensed 2D action side-scrolling game with a pixelated graphic style. It is developed by Bitmap Bureau and published by Reef Entertainment.

“The game lets you play as legendary Terminator heroes Sarah Connor, John Connor and the T-800 as they take on Skynet and the deadly T-1000 in a story that blends iconic scenes from ‘Terminator 2: Judgment Day’ with original scenarios and multiple endings,” reads the game’s description

The developers said that a great challenge while working on the title is to turn the classic science fiction action movie into a complete arcade experience. “We wanted to do justice to the Terminator 2 legacy, ” said Mike Tucker, design director and programmer at Bitmap Bureau.

You can definitely expect to encounter iconic scenes, such as the Corral bar brawl and the motorcycle escape from the T-1000. Sarah Connor, who is excellent in melee combat, is equipped with a laser sight, which drew inspiration from the Miles Dyson scene.

The game’s cinematic soundtrack features recrafted music from the movie and brand-new compositions. Also, it will provide various modes to experience and unlock, including Story Mode, Arcade Mode, Infinite Mode, Boss Rush, Mother of the Future, and Level Training.
