Take a look at this mod for the 2011 remaster of the third-person action-adventure American McGee’s Alice, which addresses the game’s technical issues and improves its visuals.
The mod fixes various bugs, such as Alice’s blinking animation playing too fast at high fps in the settings menu or crashing when saving at certain resolutions, and adapts the image to widescreen. It also restores the Cheshire Cat hints that didn’t work in the remaster.
With the mod, you can also change the language in the game and choose from English, German, French, or Spanish. Apart from this, the fan-made expansion adjusts some display features and allows you to hide the popup console at launch, forcing the game to start in fullscreen mode and more. As for the graphics, the mod allows for a custom frame rate limit, with the option to match the monitor’s refresh rate.

The Alice series includes American McGee’s Alice and Alice: Madness Returns, the latter released in 2011. In 2017, the third installment, Alice: Asylum, was announced. However, publisher Electronic Arts decided to shut down the project.
