Alexandre Mougenot, Lead 3D Character Artist at TAT Production, shared a new artwork showing an adorable 3D dragon.
The depiction is based on the work of Matthieu Rappeneau, who created a series of designs with fruit animals. “It was his bust of an albino dragon that caught my eye,” Alexandre shared. “I’d been wanting to make another dragon for a while and his design made me really want to get started.”
Alexandre created the work with ZBrush, Maya, Substance 3D Painter, and Marmoset Toolbag and shared his experience of using the latter: “I was also able to try my hand at Marmoset Toolbag, and the result is incredible. I wasn’t expecting this quality in real time.”
