Autodesk’s Mudbox 2026 Released With No New Features Listed

It appears that Autodesk’s digital sculpting software, Mudbox, has received its fifth consecutive “minor update” with no new features mentioned in the release notes. The only information provided is a vague message saying, “Welcome to Mudbox 2026. This release includes minor updates,” leaving users in the dark about the specifics of these updates.

Since Autodesk made the decision to reinvest in Mudbox back in 2017, there has been a noticeable lack of new features. The last version to deliver meaningful upgrades was Mudbox 2019, with subsequent releases consisting of minor updates.

The only noticeable change in Mudbox 2026 seems to be its pricing, which has dropped to $10 per month.
