The first Need for Speed was released in December 30 years ago, and this huge anniversary should be celebrated accordingly. BMW has prepared well, recreating the iconic M3 GTR from the original Most Wanted (2005).

We’ve moved on from Most Wanted, but the race car persists: you can enjoy the special M3 GTR in Need for Speed Unbound Vol. 9: Prepare for Lockdown. The release also brings the first-ever bike included in a NFS title, the 2019 S 1000 RR. Moreover, the No Limits mobile game also receives “the GTR-spec E46’s special wrap.”

You can check the M3 GTR out at the BMW Welt in Munich from November 27 until January 6. It will also reportedly appear “elsewhere” in 2025, “possibly at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.”
