Buckshot Roulette entertained a huge chunk of gamers for a while, and the most impressive achievement there is probably the fact the game was made by a solo developer, Mike Klubnika.
You can see how the project evolved in a time-lapse the creator published shown through 2,330 Blender viewport preview thumbnails. It starts with props and eventually grows into a whole level powered by Godot.

Buckshot Roulette peaked at 20,226 concurrent players on Steam, which might not seem like much, but it’s actually a pretty big success for an indie game made by one person, and I’m sure you’ve at least heard of it from all those playthroughs on YouTube.
The time-lapse is just a part of the development process, with Klubnika modeling 3D objects in Blender and texturing them with Paint.NET and Texture Ripper. His favorite part is making environments and placing small details. If you want to learn more about the project, read our interview with the artist.
