We at 80 Level absolutely love procedural tools, so we couldn’t go past Levi Murray’s bridge generator. The tool for Godot draws fantastically smooth planks to create bridges, and you can then adjust the gaps for a more customized experience.
The sound of quickly falling planks makes the whole bridge-making process even more satisfying. Murray is creating the collision shapes “based on the merged AABBs of planks within a minimum distance to each other,” as he shared on X/Twitter, where you can find his other works, including those connected to Manly Mines, his upcoming “bodybuilding co-op survival horror” in which you need to sell loot to buy food and supplements “in order to beef up to tackle the mighty testing gates.”
We have more procedural tools to recommend, such as UNfragment01’s awesome bricks, Jules Mabon’s industrial structure generator, and Pavel Oliva’s green fences.
Oh, and we have a lot (A LOT) of other procedural bridges, check them out.
