Leo Torres, a 3D Artist known for making fantastic environment recreations using Unreal Engine 5, has showcased a new Skyrim-inspired 3D environment made with the said software.
The new recreation features Riverwood and is part of a project to visualize a “more realistic and lore-accurate scale to Tamriel.” Leo Torres recreated the picturesque village “with sixteen times the detail” and captured the subtle sense of wonder from stepping in for the first time at the beginning of the game, also accompanying the setup with an inspiring soundtrack, Beams and Dust by Helmut Schenker.
The artist rendered the environment in Unreal Engine 5.4 on an RTX 3090. The scene features both third-party models and custom assets modeled and textured in Blender. For the models and foliage, Leo Torres utilized Nanite; Lumen was used for global illumination and reflections, while DLAA was utilized for anti-aliasing.
