Big budget World War 2 movies aren’t as popular as they once were, but one of the best of the modern era is easily David Ayer’s Fury. The hard-hitting tale of a US tank crew taking on seemingly impossible odds as they pushed the Axis forces back was an intense experience, and if you’d like to add it to your Blu-ray collection, a new Fury Limited 4K Steelbook Edition is launching on July 15 and is now available to preorder for $40.
$40 | Releases July 15
The Fury Limited Edition Steelbook 4K Blu-ray is a two-disc collection featuring new cover art based on the film’s theatrical poster, with the front featuring Brad Pitt’s character of Don “Wardaddy” Collier in a contemplative pose. The rear and inside of the cover features the rest of the cast–including Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Pena, and Jon Bernthal in their M4 Sherman tank, the titular “Fury” of the film. This 4K version of the film supports Dolby Vision and HDR presentation and Dolby Atmos audio. The release also includes a bunch of special features, which you can see listed below.

For the extras, the UHD disc has four featurettes on it and theatrical trailers. The standard Blu-ray disc has a wide selection of bonus materials alongside the 1080p version of the film, including a “combat journal” made by Ayer, three more featurettes, almost an hour of deleted and extended scenes, and a photo gallery. Here’s the full list of everything included:

- No Guts, No Glory: The Horrors of Combat featurette
- Tiger 131 featurette
- Heart of Fury featurette
- Clash of Armor featurette
- Theatrical Trailers

In case you’ve never seen it, Fury is a slick and emotionally charged action movie. It’s not a gung-ho film either, as it captures the terror of tank combat in gritty detail. An authentic experience that doesn’t pull any punches thanks to its polished direction and all-star cast of actors, Fury is a brutal but engrossing movie to watch.
