EVR Studio Showcased Project TH’s Hybrid Boss Battle Design

Project TH is an upcoming action-adventure game from EVR Studio, set in a speculative near-future unified Korea. Although the release date remains uncertain, the developer has been working on it for quite a while and regularly shares updates, highlighting progress and various gameplay features.

The latest video showcases a boss fight demo, blending precision-based third-person shooting with melee combos. It features a seamless flow of dashes, parries, QTE takedowns, aerial strikes, and more, creating a continuous combat experience with some sort of sci-fi vibe.

“These bosses are far from simple bullet sponges. With teleportation skills, parry-bait attacks, and unpredictable timing, they constantly push the player to adapt. And when tear gas is thrown mid-battle, the boss awakens, triggering a complete shift in the combat phase, along with entirely new attack patterns and skill sets”, says the description. EVR Studio highlights that its goal is to create a hybrid fighting experience combining tactics, immersion, and cinematic execution.

A few years back, we had the privilege of speaking with Dong-Jun Min, Co-Founder of EVR Studio, about the game’s development and the cultural influences shaping it. Things have shifted since then, so to stay updated on the progress of Project TH, subscribe to its YouTube channel for devlogs and exclusive insights:
