Amazon has fully unveiled the upcoming 4K Blu-ray release of Prime Video’s Fallout TV series. The Limited Edition Steelbook is set to launch on July 8 alongside standard Blu-ray and DVD editions of Fallout: Season 1. Fans of the adaptation will probably be pleased by the price, as Amazon has the cool collectible edition listed for only $40. Unlike some 4K steelbooks, this is actually limited edition, according to Amazon, so you’ll want to snag a copy while you can.
Amazon doesn’t charge for preorders until it ships your item, and locking in your preorder early ensures you’ll get to take advantage of any price cuts offered until release. Fallout: Season 1 aired last year exclusively on Prime Video, and it’s rare for Amazon to release physical editions for its original shows.
$40 | Releases July 8
Fallout Season 1’s Limited Edition Steelbook will only be available to purchase “while supplies last,” though it’s unclear how many copies will be printed. And while it doesn’t specify on the listing, this release is probably exclusive to Amazon.
This three-disc set includes 4K and standard Blu-ray versions of the complete first season. The steelbook case features exclusive character art on the front and back, while the interior art includes an advertisement for Vault-Tec with Vault Boy reassuring you that everything will be just fine. You’ll also get a slipcase and five art cards featuring the main characters.
Another reason to add the 4K Blu-ray release to your collection is for the special features, as there are quite a few featurettes on these discs.

Fallout: Season 1 earned positive reviews from critics and fans, making it one of the rare live-action video game adaptations for TV that lived up to its namesake.
The show follows three different characters as they trek across the Wasteland–a Vault dweller heading above ground for the first time, a squire of the Brotherhood of Steel, and a deadly bounty hunter known as The Ghoul. The show earned rave reviews for its excellent writing and faithful adaptation of its source material, making it an easy recommendation for fans of the game.
