The ability to customize the game’s environment and build your own structures within the game’s world is something that adds a special interest and creates funny and interesting takes. For example, take a look at this awesome house of SpongeBob SquarePants recreated in No Man’s Sky by a Twitter user known as Beefy_5layer.
There are houses of other Bikini Bottom residents, too – besides SpongeBob’s pineapple, there are homes of Squidward and Patrick, located the same way as in the cartoon. The player recreated the toon locations, preserving familiar details such as all windows, pipes, and a weather vane. However, still, the houses are depicted in a different style of the game, looking more realistic and even misty.
Sean Murray, the founder of No Man’s Sky development studio Hello Games, also appreciated the fanart and reposted the tweet.
Before, another player known on Reddit as ELuckman shared a video in which the fishing line is cast not in the nearby water but to another neighboring planet. Allegedly, it was a bug but it added an extra interest and humor to the game.
