Realistic Explosion Simulation Made With Houdini’s Axiom Solver


Take a look at this in-progress explosion effect showcase by FX Artist known as AbyssEdits, who specializes in Houdini and Nuke. While they haven’t provided many details about the project, it seems they’re using Theory Accelerated’s Axiom, a GPU-accelerated volumetric fluid solver for computer graphics and effects, which delivers better performance compared to Houdini’s native tools
