Rendering improvements in 4.25 | Feature Highlight | Unreal Engine



Rendering in Unreal Engine 4.25 continues to push the boundaries of photorealism in real-time environments. We’ve added a new physically based Thin Transparency shading model and improved the Clear Coat shading model so that it now exhibits a physically accurate response to punctual lights. Additionally, we’ve added a new rendering pipeline with a streamlined workflow for high-quality rendering of movies and stills with accumulated anti-aliasing and motion blur, as well as tiled rendering for extremely high-resolution output, overcoming GPU memory limits and device timeout limitations.
