The hardcover cookbook spans 192 pages, covering everything from quick bites and beverages to intricate meals perfect for an elaborate dinner party. Many of the recipes are manageable regardless of skill level, thanks to instructions that walk you through the entire process, along with quick highlights that tell you how long each meal will take to prep and cook. The cookbook even calls out dietary considerations when necessary–such as when a dish is gluten-free or vegetarian.
Created by Cassandra Reeder–author of The Video Game Chef–and Jim Festante–a writer with bylines at Syfy, Comedy Central, and Dark Horse–Starfield: The Official Cookbook has some serious talent behind it. So whether you’re an avid foodie or a dedicated member of Constellation, it’s bound to be an entertaining read.
Beyond all the recipes, Starfield: The Official Cookbook includes various anecdotes and tales from across the Starfield universe. Julia Seren, a fictional chef, serves as your culinary guide, offering tidbits of lore alongside each dish, making it a quirky way to learn more about the game’s history. And since the book is nearly 200 pages, there are a bunch of cool stories hidden between its covers.
Ahead of the book’s arrival, GameSpot has exclusive access to three recipes–Supernova Cocktail, Bart’s Chili, and Chunks Coco. For even more culinary fun based on Bethesda games, check out Fallout: The Vault Dweller’s Official Cookbook and The Elder Scrolls: The Official Cookbook–both of which are currently on sale.
