Take a look at this unusual, unique game, which is set almost literally in Renaissance paintings. Death of the Reprobate is an upcoming story-rich dark comedy set in medieval times, developed by Joe Richardson.
The game follows the story of a character who lives in the artistic world and interacts with the inhabitants of a quiet, rural town, helping them in their daily tasks. However, it’s not that simple, as a mysterious and ominous twist will come along…

This history-inspired game has a unique atmosphere and visuals. The graphics are made in the style of Renaissance paintings, blending it with Rococo and Romanticism. Hundreds of paintings, embracing years of history, are brought together into one consistent world. Classical music performed by Eduardo Antonello and recorded using real medieval and Renaissance instruments as a soundtrack supports the artistic atmosphere. The music adapts to the time period as the story progresses.
The story is set in the same medieval-inspired world as other developer’s titles, Four Last Things and The Procession to Calvary, but it can be played independently. It features a traditional point-and-click interface with a simple inventory.
The game will be released on November 7. Wishlist it on Steam and don’t forget to join our 80 Level Talent platform and our new Discord server, follow us on Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Telegram, TikTok, and Threads, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
