Take a Look at This LEGO-Style Blender Animation with Spider-Man


Take a look at this Blender LEGO-style animation with a Spider-Man character created by a Reddit user known as Nintino.

In the animation, Spider-Man is put not in his habitual New York setting with tall skyscrapers but in a small town with houses of two stories, which results in a sad outcome, as his spiderweb is too long.

The LEGO-style setting looks realistic and resembles stop-motion camera footage, as the artist accurately replicates how the camera’s focus looks. At the end of the video, a room is shown, which makes the viewer think it was filmed on camera once again. The artist made this animation as a part of a tutorial series on building a Lego building generator with geometry nodes:

The artist said that the challenge of “filming” miniature scenes is that they need a lot of blur to make them look realistic and accurate to scale. In the video, Nintino shares the process of learning how to use Blender over a year:
