Team Cherry
Hollow Knight: Silksong is known for being one of the most anticipated games and being in development forever without news from the developer Team Cherry. However, on March 24, a silent miracle happened: the game got several updates in its Steam files.
According to SteamDB, Team Cherry changed the date of legal lines from 2019 to 2025, opted in for NVIDIA’s GeForce Now cloud service, and added a couple of header images. Alas, there are no new teasers present.
Silksong doesn’t often bless fans with updates, and some of them are afraid the game has been abandoned. However, the project’s marketing director has recently confirmed that it is “real, progressing, and will release.” Now the question is when, and hopeful players see the updates as a hint at its 2025 launch.
Who knows, perhaps the wait will soon be over, and we might even get Half-Life 3 along the way, which is rumored to be near completion. Then, nothing will be impossible, and Bloodborne will be released on PC, for sure.
If Silksong does come out this year, it will face tough competition: GTA 6 is set for fall unless it gets delayed.
