Zombie Mode Added to UE5-Powered Hyperrealistic FPS Bodycam

Reissad Studio has updated their ultra-realistic multiplayer, first-person shooter game Bodycam to introduce a terrifying Zombie Mode into the immersive game, which will be a permanent mode.

“Our mission is to deliver the most realistic, terrifying, and immersive round-based zombie experience ever created, where every decision could be your last. Only the strongest team or the bravest solo player will survive the night,” the developers said

The introduction of the new mode to Bodycam has been loved by many of its fans. Players are excited for the extra thrill they’ll experience while fighting the hoards of undead. A few days have passed since the launch of this mode, and I am having a lot of fun watching players playing this mode — obviously, I mean watching how the nightmare of being suddenly attacked by a zombie when you focus on checking the crates for new weapons came true, or a jump scare by them when turning around, or get hit dead as they jump from upstairs right onto you.

In case you missed our previous coverage of the game, Bodycam is an immersive multiplayer FPS designed to push the boundaries of photorealism that was launched in Early Access in June. It features high-octane deathmatch gameplay, where two teams compete to be the last ones standing. It offers a variety of weapons, strategically designed maps, ragdoll physics, and a unique bodycam-style fisheye camera perspective.

If you would like to learn more about the production process behind Bodycam, we highly recommend checking out our interview with Reissad Studio, a team formed by two developers aged 17 and 20. They told us about the game’s story and development, discussed its camera and lighting, and discussed its shooting mechanics.
