AIF26 Keynote - From Human Resources to Human Capacity

What if the most valuable resource in the age of AI isn't technology—but people?

In this keynote from the Automotive Innovation Forum 2026 (AIF26), futurist Lars Thomsen explores how AI, robotics, and embodied intelligence are reshaping the future of engineering, manufacturing, and work itself. Rather than focusing on technology alone, he argues that human creativity, experience, collaboration, and the ability to ask great questions will become the most valuable assets in a world where answers are increasingly abundant.

Key topics include:
• The shift from traditional digitalization to scalable AI-driven intelligence
• The rise of embodied AI and robotics as the next major industrial wave
• How AI agents can eliminate routine work and unlock human potential
• Why leadership must rethink productivity, collaboration, and organizational design
• What the automotive industry can learn from emerging AI and robotics ecosystems

Drawing on insights from leading robotics and AI companies, Thomsen presents a compelling vision for how organizations can use AI to reduce complexity, accelerate innovation, and help people focus on the work they do best.
