2026 Reallusion 3D Character Contest - (The Mother of Ashes ) WIP Video
Nefret is an exiled Egyptian warrior mother whose son was taken by the gods after a prophecy foretold that he would become the next God of War.
Driven by grief, love, and revenge, Nefret returns to challenge the gods and reclaim her son.
This character is my entry for the 2026 Reallusion 3D Character Contest – Character Animation category.
Character Animation
The animation focuses on Nefret's personality, emotions, and cinematic presence, combining dramatic acting, facial performance, and combat animation.
The facial animation was captured using the Live Face App on iPhone, with the performance streamed into iClone 8 for facial animation and refinement.
Body animation and cinematic animation were developed in the Reallusion pipeline and prepared for real-time production.

This allowed me to capture facial expressions and emotional performance directly and integrate them into the character animation.
Character Design
The character was developed around an Egyptian-inspired identity with a realistic cinematic approach.
