NetEase Games has released a new developer update detailing balancing changes coming in Season 1 of Marvel Rivals. The upcoming season will feature Dracula as the main villain and add The Fantastic Four to Marvel Rivals' ever-expanding roster. Many fans are excited to jump into the game when Season 1: Eternal Night Falls releases on January 10 at 1 AM PST.

After months of rumors, Nvidia debuted its latest generation of desktop and laptop graphics cards at CES 2025. The RTX 50-series is the fastest lineup of GPUs Nvidia has developed. Starting with its RTX 5070, Nvidia claims it delivers the equivalent performance to the previous generations top model, the RTX 4090, at just $549 instead of the 4090s $1,599. Moving on up, the RTX 5070 Ti will cost $749, $999 for the RTX 5080, and $1,999 for the RTX 5090. All of these cards will be available starting later this month.The RTX 50-series marks the jump to GDDR7 video memory (VRAM), which is both more powerful and power efficient than the GDDR6x utilized in most RTX 40-series cards. Chief among the new features in the RTX 50-series cards aside from their horsepower increase is DLSS 4. It builds on Nvidias previous iterations, all of which aim to increase gaming performance while making a series of visual trade-offs (i.e. lowering the render resolution, using AI to generate new frames to make games run smoother) that are becoming more and more difficult to spot as the tech improves. Nvidia touts that DLSS 4 taps into AI even more generating 3 frames with trained AI for every 1 rendered on the GPU to allow games to look better and run faster. Leaning so heavily on Tensor AI cores on the GPU is part of what makes Nvidias RTX 50-series more efficient, so says Nvidia.It was a big day for new gaming GPUs, as AMD also announced some new hardware at CES. The companys new RDNA 4 graphics architecture and FSR4 upscaling and frame generation tech will debut in graphics cards coming soon, including the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT and the RX 9070. Pricing and availability havent been announced for these cards, though theyll likely compete directly against the GPUs in Nvidias RTX 50-series lineup.

On the same day NVIDIA briefly became the most valuable company in the world, CEO Jensen Huang took to the CES 2025 stage to announce the company's new, long-awaited Blackwell family of graphic cards. The first salvo of RTX 50 series GPU will arrive in January, with pricing starting at $549 for the RTX 5070 and topping out at an eye-watering $1,999 for the flagship RTX 5090. In between those are the $749 RTX 5070 Ti and $999 RTX 5080. Laptop variants of the desktop GPUs will follow in March, with pricing there starting at $1,299 for 5070-equipped PCs.As for specs, the RTX 5090 Founders Edition will feature 32GB of GDDR7 RAM and 21,760 CUDA cores. Depending on the game, NVIDIA says the 5090 will deliver as much as twice the relative performance, with RT-intensive titles like Alan Wake 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 seeing the largest gains. In the latter, for instance, NVIDIA shared a video that showed the game running at 242 frames per second on the 5090 compared to a relatively paltry 109 fps on the RTX 4090.Of course, the performance uplift consumers can expect will depend, in large part, on whether a game supports NVIDIA's new DLSS 4 tech. Looking at the performance charts NVIDIA shared, games that are limited to DLSS 3 will see a smaller performance boost. However, the good news is that older RTX GPUs will support DLSS 4, though the tech's killer feature, multi-frame generation, will be exclusive to the company's new 50 series cards.NVIDIA kicked off the Blackwell portion of its CES presentation with a demo of a next-generation Assassin's Creed game featuring the most realistic ray-traced graphics the series has ever featured. At CES 2025, Anker has a pair of new speakers under its Soundcore brand. The first, the Soundcore Rave 3S, is a $349 party speaker with AI-powered karaoke tricks and built-in light shows. Joining it is the SoundCore Boom 2 Pro, a more powerful follow-up to its non-Pro namesake, which adds boomier bass and better protection from water and dust.The appropriately named Rave 3S is described as an AI party speaker with 200W output and 108dB volume. Anker says it can fill spaces of up to 1,076 square feet. The speaker has IP68 dust and water resistance (the Boom 2 and Plus variant were only rated IPX7), and Anker says it can float on water for pool parties.Like the party speaker, the Boom 2 Pro can produce an RGB light show, and it ships with a portable strap for slinging it over your shoulder. Anker says it has a 20-hour playtime. CES is known for putting the spotlight on wacky innovations and Eufy came prepared for this years event. The company just revealed its E20 robot vacuum, which can actually transform from a traditional robovac to a manually-controlled stick vac. This is the first time weve seen something like this. Some robovacs include additional stick vacuums, but do not transform into them. The design seems simple. On the outside, it looks similar to competing robot vacuums from companies like Roomba. However, users can simply remove the vacuum module, which includes a motor and a filtration system, and pop it onto a stick attachment. It also comes with a handheld vacuum attachment, which works in a similar way. The company says transformations can be made at any time without damage to the machine or sacrificing performance. My bedroom rug, which is more cat hair than fiber at this point, would very much like to test that. Eufy It also includes some modern robovac accoutrements, like a base station that automatically empties debris. The company says the bin is large enough to handle 75 days of cleaning before requiring a manual trip to the garbage can. The vacuum ships with the companys proprietary obstacle avoidance tech, which can identify and avoid items as small as 15mm. Did we mention it also transforms at will? Technological tomfoolery at its finest. The battery life here seems on point, with Eufy claiming itll clean for three hours before needing to charge. To that end, it can fully charge in around two and a half hours. The E20 will be available on February 10 and will cost $550. Thats actually fairly budget-friendly when compared to some of the newer robovacs heading to market, and those dont transform at all.
