After it was leaked a few days earlier than intended, Konami officially confirmed during the February State of Play that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will launch on August 28. This remake of the 2004 stealth-action game Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater also debuted a new trailer during State of Play that recreated several pivotal moments from the trailer before closing with a glimpse of its crossover with Ape Escape. Although the story and voice overs remain the same, there have been a number of new additions for this remake. There will be an option for a third-person view, as well as the traditional MGS top-down viewpoint. Players will also be able to change their camo on the fly with a quick-select button, which may help them remain undetected during tense situations.Most of the game's Easter eggs have also been incorporated into the remake, with new additions called GA-KO, which will be hidden throughout the game.
