Returnal developer Housemarque revealed its next game during February 2025's PlayStation State of Play. It's called Saros, and the award-winning team plans to launch it in 2026 for PlayStation 5, with enhancements for PlayStation 5 Pro.Saros is a single-player action game that follows an explorer named Arjun Devraj, played by Rahul Kohli (Midnight Mass, The Haunting of Bly Manor), who is stranded on an alien planet, similar to Returnal. Housemarque creative director Gregory Louden called Saros an "evolution of the Housemarque gameplay-first experience" that builds on Returnal's structure. "A key gameplay distinction between Saros and Returnal is permanent resources and progression making every death valuable," Louden said in a PlayStation Blog post.
