The latest Call of Duty event is now live in Black Ops 6 and Warzone for Season 2. The new Shadow Hunt event provides players with in-game challenges to complete, and the rewards include the season's new marksman rifle, perk, and weapon attachment. Here's how you unlock all rewards for the Shadow Hunt limited-time event.The Shadow Hunt event is live from now until February 20, which also seems to be the midpoint for Season 2. A date isn't confirmed yet for the big midseason update, but here's everything announced and rumored for Black Ops 6 and Warzone in Season 2 Reloaded.As for the Shadow Hunt challenges, this is a set of six challenges that can be completed across multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. Each challenge offers a new reward. Completing all of these will earn you the final Mastery reward, which is Season 2's new TR2 marksman rifle weapon unlock.All Shadow Hunt event challenges and rewards can be seen below. Unburied Hatchet - SprayThis throwing axe spray can be unlocked by completing any one of three challenges:Multiplayer - Earn 50,000 scoreZombies - Complete 30 total roundsWarzone - Complete 5 contracts Stealth Hunter - EmblemThis ninja-themed emblem can be unlocked by completing any one of three challenges:Multiplayer - Get 100 eliminations using a weapon with a suppressor equippedZombies - Get 500 critical kills with a suppressorWarzone - Get 3 headshots Wolfhound - Weapon charmThis purple wolf charm can be unlocked by completing any one of three challenges:Multiplayer - Win 5 matchesZombies - Successfully exfil 3 timesWarzone - Complete 5 matches Double XP tokenThis 1-hour double XP token can be earned by completing any one of three challenges:Multiplayer - Get a kill without taking damage 30 timesZombies - Get 30 kills in a row without taking damage 10 timesWarzone - Get Loot 10 caches Slipstream - New MP perk + double XP tokenThe Shadow Hunt event includes the season's highly-anticipated new perk for multiplayer. Slipstream is for those who enjoy speed and taking advantage of the game's omnimovement, as the perk is designed to raise a player's base sprint speed at the cost of removing Tac-Sprint. This is a tier 3 perk in the Enforcer category.This new perk can be unlocked by completing any one of three challenges:Multiplayer - Get 5 kills using melee weaponsZombies - Get 200 kills using melee weaponsWarzone - Get an elimination using meleeThis new perk is for multiplayer only, so the rewards also include a 30-minute double XP token, which is likely so Warzone players don't feel left out. Binary Trigger - Weapon attachmentThis event includes the season's latest weapon attachment. The Binary Trigger is a fire mod attachment specifically for the Tanto .22 submachine gun. This attachment is designed to alter the weapon's typical full-auto firing mode to a specialized semi-auto function, which Activision describes as "firing a bullet when the trigger is pulled and when it's released for rapid-fire capabilities." Using this attachment blocks Barrel and Underbarrel attachments.This new weapon attachment can be unlocked by completing any one of three challenges:Multiplayer - Kill 10 enemies revealed by your Spy Cam or Prox Alarm tactical equipmentZombies - Kill 3 elite zombie enemies (These are specifically the Abomination and Amalgam enemy types)Warzone - Get 10 eliminations with custom guns TR2 marksman rifle - Mastery rewardCompleting all six event challenges will unlock the final Mastery reward. This is the TR2 marksman rifle, a semi-auto gun that heavily resembles the iconic FAL rifle from past Call of Duty games.The weapon unlock comes bundled with 7,500 XP for completing the event.
