Side quests are a staple of RPGs, and yet a lot of games fail to engross players with whimsical side adventurers. Some RPG exceptions dont follow the typical fetch quest formula, and Avowed is now one such example. Most of the side quests have some greater meaning behind them and, if not, then at least the quest-giving NPCs will be interesting, or the rewards will be valuable.
