As you level up your friendship level with the Hello Kitty Island Adventure cast, you'll unlock more quests and, in some cases, a new character. Unlike visitors, these characters can be given gifts and will give you crafting plans as you level them up. Unlocking characters is important as doing so will unlock more resources that you won't be able to get anywhere else in Island Adventure. One such example is Wool, which is a necessity when crafting cottage-themed furniture.
