
Microsoft brings its Copilot AI app to the Mac

Apple does say the Mac is the best AI PC, and Microsoft is here for it. Starting today, Microsofts AI app called Copilot is now available on the Mac App Store. Copilot, which includes OpenAI and Microsoft models, was previously limited to the iPhone and iPad for Apple device users.Copilot for macOS requires macOS 14.0 or later and runs on Apples M1 chip or later no Intel Mac support. You may recall a previous version of Copilot running on Macs with Apple silicon more than a year ago, but Microsoft pulled what was actually the iPad version running on the Mac last year.Starting today, Copilot is back on the Mac with a proper macOS app and keyboard shortcut support for quickly pinging Microsofts AI assistant.Heres the full app description from Microsoft: Your Al companion is now available on macOS.
