Kid has been a fairly important part of the One Piece story since his debut during Sabaody Archipelago. Being a member of the Worst Generation, Kid is a direct foil of Luffy, representing the ideas of ruthlessness and power, while still fighting for the same goals. With his important role in the Wano Arc of One Piece and his interesting relationship with Luffy, many fans expect the pirate to have an important role in the coming Final Saga of One Piece.
