Autodesk to cut 9% of staff as revenues increase

Autodesk said recently that it will be reducing staff by 9%, or 1,350 employees. The move comes after a reported 12% increase in revenues last year and changes to its subscription and billing models. Spending on products has increased with AI implementation.CEO Andrew Anagnost told employees in a memo: "These changes position us to better meet the evolving needs of our customers and channel partners. To fully benefit from these changes, we are beginning the transformation of our GTM organization to increase customer satisfaction and Autodesks productivity." (h/t CNBC).
