The New York Toy Fair 2025 has just wrapped up, giving collectors and toy fans sneak peeks at some of the biggest companies' offerings for the year and beyond. GameSpot was invited to attend this year's event and was allowed to check out and get hands-on with some of these. There were a few instances of things we can't yet talk about, so these are some of the big things we saw and can share. Some of our favorites from this year's Toy Fair include a detailed Dr. Doom helmet and cowl, a Star Wars legend's first Black Series figure, and two iconic 1980s properties crossing streams.A quick honorable mention though: The Lego Ideas Cullen House. Lego Ideas is a fan-submitted program for the company to make official sets. This has been one of the most desired Ideas since Voltron was released and went viral. The set officially got the required 10,000 votes to go into production and was finally released last month as a Lego Ideas exclusive.Lego had the set displayed for the first time so fans could finally get a look at the set after years of development. It comes with seven mini-figures and includes Jacob Black in wolf form. The company also had the Bluey Lego set in the showroom, which you can check out for yourself here. See at Lego 1. Even though Hasbro was only able to show off the unfinished prototype, it's still impressive up close with all those details that mimic the animated show perfectly. See at Amazon 2. McFarlane's SuperfriendsThe Challenge of the Superfriends animated series defined the Justice League and their biggest bads for a generation despite only having an original 16-episode run. Coming later this year, the first wave will include Sinestro, Lex Luthor, Batman, and Green Lantern. There will also be a Platinum Red Batman from the series' Universe of Evil storyline. Mattel's ThunderCats x MOTUWhile the Turtles of Grayskull line might have had mixed reviews, the newest crossover for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe seems to have been a success from its first looks. Taking elements from both Third-earth and Eternia, this wave includes the Skeletor/Mumm-Ra (dubbed Skell-Ra), Lion-O, Cheetara, and Battle Cat Man, the first figure of its kind. This was our first look at the potential second wave of He-Man, Tigra, and Panthro in Man-In-Arms-type of armor. 4. Bandai's Jaws Bath BombCelebrating Jaws' 50th anniversary, Bandai joined the golden celebration by giving fans something a bit different. Shaped like the Orca, you can drop these bombs in your bath to initially turn your water blue like the ocean--only to turn bathtime into looking like a crime scene as it eventually starts turning red. After the bomb has fizzled out, it will reveal the shark's head that you can display. This was originally only available in Japan, and now Bandai has added a few more heads to collect, including one with the gas tank in his mouth as well as a charred version. That streak was broken late last year, and we finally have our first look at the villainous and seductive Prince Xizor.Gone are the energy-blade fans from his Kenner release. Instead, he comes with his scepter-staff weapon. His ornate robe is detailed and includes soft goods for his elbow shawls.
