GSA begins process for shedding leases of federal buildings nationwide

The Trump Administrations plans for downsizing government have now turned to the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), who briefly listed 443 properties in its portfolio as being targeted for a potential sale via a press release Tuesday. The list was later amended to include 320 before disappearing completely."Decades of funding deficiencies have resulted in many of these buildings becoming functionally obsolete and unsuitable for use by our federal workforce," the statement says as justification."We can no longer hope that funding will emerge to resolve these longstanding issues," it continues.
