Following our recent preview of the $89 million soon-to-reopenOMA-designed New Museum extension in New York City, heres a sneak preview of its new 100-seat restaurant space for the Oberon Group from partner Shohei Shigematsu."We imagined the restaurant both as part of and independent from the Museum. Conceived as a freestanding box inserted into the ground floor lobby, it will be accessible from the buildings front and back, day to night. Inside, a large dining room and fixed pockets of seating will offer space to gather or retreat.
