It also portrays the AIs efforts to sustain the last living tree on Mars, symbolizing its role in ecological preservation. Throughout, the AI's programming evolves, enabling it to question its purpose and the values it was designed to uphold, highlighting its journey towards a potentially autonomous identity.Production details and background on the project"Red Gaia" is my first narrative personal project after 20 years of honing my skills as a designer and visual effects artist.Dedicating nights and weekends, the film was almost entirely self made: researched, written, produced, directed, modeled, animated, lit, rendered and composited. It was a steep learning curb to say the least.
