David E. Sellers, a creative mind and driving force in the residential architecture of Vermont, passed away recently at the age of 86, the New York Times reported.Sellers stood out among his Class of 1965 cohort at the Yale School of Architecture with provocative and craft-inspired maximalist designs that began with his Prickly Mountain house and continued beyond his "Hippie Gothic" contributions to the states Mad River Valley and its capital of Burlington.The Sibley/Pyramid House from 1967.
