Doflamingo has always been a fan-favorite villain in One Piece. With high levels of charisma, intelligence, and strength, Doflamingo was on an entirely different level than any foe Luffy had to face leading up to the Dressrosa Arc. Paired with Doffys cool design and long-standing importance to the series, the Warlord quickly became a character that fans hoped would remain relevant until the end of One Piece.
