In it, she portrays all 26 characters of the novel."No alcohol, no caffeine. Sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep. And I do my lines at pace on a treadmill, you know," Snook told The New Yorker. When the outlet pointed out that it was similar to what Swift had done to prepare for her Eras Tour concerts, Snook confirmed that the singer had inspired her."I heard that and thought, 'That's a genius idea. I'm gonna do that,'" Snook said. The actor shared that she started performing the play which first opened on London's West End in early 2024 when her daughter was six months old.As intense as her schedules were, Snook says being a mom to a newborn helped her stay disciplined."It's valuing sleep, needing to keep nutrition up, because she's taking a lot of it from breastfeeding. Keeping myself healthy for being a new mom also kept myself healthy for doing this marathon," Snook said."Otherwise, it's very easy to go, 'Had a big night tonight. Yeah, I'll have a drink. Yeah, I'll have a glass of wine.' And then you're going to bed at five and sleeping until three. With a baby, you cannot do that," she added. In an interview with Time in 2023, Swift said she started an intensive training routine six months before her first Eras Tour show."Every day I would run on the treadmill, singing the entire set list out loud," Swift said. "Fast for fast songs, and a jog or a fast walk for slow songs."The "Cruel Summer" singer said she also incorporated strength training and dance training into her workouts. The Eras Tour concluded in December and grossed over $2 billion in ticket sales.A representative for Snook did not immediately respond to a request for comment sent by Business Insider outside regular hours.
