There is an additional, unconfirmed report about new showrunners that just went out for season 3, but the sourcing on that seems nebulous at this point, and I wouldnt consider that a firm news item. Stiller quotes, on the other hand, Im taking as gospel.It is not uncommon to wait for a show to air before announcing that another season is coming. Though at a reported $20 million and episode, and Apple previously saying they were going to spend less on original content, maybe thats giving them pause. Severance is easily the most popular show on Apple TV and a major driver of media conversation in a way we havent seen with weekly airings of shows in a very long time. as fans try to unravel its various mysteries. This season, Severance became the most-watched series in Apple history, before it even finished season 2, passing up all three seasons of Ted Lasso (now, a fourth is coming).
