Destiny 2BungieWhat is up guys, its your boy Rick Kackis andokay its not actually Rick Kackis, but I am going to spotlight a build he made that is one of the funniest Ive seen in Destiny 2, and has proven to be controversial given its playstyle.Watch his video here, or below, but Ill do a rundown of how exactly this works, and why its so effective in high end content. Here is also the full build with every piece on Mobalytics.The idea here is an Arc Titan build that effectively makes you invincible in all content, including Grandmaster Nightfalls, paired with the ability to actually still do damage while being an immortal tank.The whole thing is based around Titan using the Stronghold exotic that is already good at making you unkillable to a certain extent while blocking, but now? Thanks to recent buffs and new additions, you can also kill lots of things instead of doing almost nothing.Play Puzzles & Games on ForbesStronghold Arms Gives you infinite sword block. You need this or this entire thing doesnt work.Flash Counter This is the perk you want on your sword to make this work. Its recently been buffed to emit a short-range blast that disorients targets after blocking when raising your guard. The blast does actual damage, not purely disorienting enemies. The second key here.Abyssal Edge This sword is Strand, and that works with the Unraveling Orbs artifact mod that gives Strand weapons Unraveling Rounds on orb pickup which works with Flash Counter damage. Also taking the Horde Shuttle mod will spawn Threadlings when doing this.Destiny 2BungiePower of Ambition Fragile, seasonal mod that give weapons Blight Rounds on rapid hit (triggers with Flash Counter) and also overcharges the weapon.Rally Barricade with Storms Keep Storms Keep lets you rapidly build bolt charge behind the barricade and lets it discharge the stacks with weapons, not just abilities. And so, Flash Counter now doing damage counts as weapon damage that will trigger Bolt, Bolt which is also buffed to do more damage this season through an artifact mod. Its a big chunk.Touch of Thunder Improve your Pulse Grenade, combined with Grenade jolt fragment, since you can throw grenades while blocking with the sword.Those are the basics, and again, literally all you need for this is Stronghold and a sword with Flash Counter, but preferably the seasonal sword, which should be easy enough to farm given that youre only using one perk.Im not sure this is exactly going to be the exact type of speed demon build you want for activities like Nether and Court of Blades, but for something like Grandmasters which is almost exclusively about avoiding or in this case, tanking tons of damage while being able to dish some out, its great. You can either have a team doing this, or you can draw fire while your teammates shoot actual guns.
