There are many things that one can expect in an RPG, and one of those things is stats. Stats are how you grow in power over the course of the game, and they help determine how much damage you do along with how much damage you take, among other things. Aside from leveling up to unlock new Skills and Arts, one of the best ways to improve in Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is to increase your stats. For the most part, it is pretty clear what each stat does in this game. Yet in spite of this, there is one stat that is not so clear in its purpose. At the bottom of the status screen you will see a stat called Potential, and here is what this stat does.
